Emphasis: Slow down and pause in your busy day and use this Yin practice to relax you in body and mind. In Yin Yoga we hold the poses, which are all seated or supine, for around 2-3 minutes which allows the connective tissues of the body to release and your nervous system to relax. Expect to feel some sensation but, if you feel any pain at all, please do come out of the pose.
Props required: A blanket and two pillows to make a bolster and two blocks.
Mat direction: Long edge of the mat facing the screen.
