Catch Up Class Week 5 - Wednesday Slow Flow Class

Duration: 1 hr 16 minutes

Emphasis:  This is the last class in the series of the Five Elements that we've been exploring this half-term. The fifth element is space/ether, known in Sanskrit as Akasha. It is the most subtle of the elements and is connected to presence, clarity, openness, spaciousness and consciousness. In line with this (and also because it was a super-hot evening) this is a Yin Yoga class where we hold the poses for 2 minutes to allow the connective tissues of the body to stretch and the mind to relax.

Props needed: A blanket, blocks and bricks, plus a yoga belt with a loop in it to put your foot in for one of the poses.

Mat direction: Long edge of the mat facing the screen.
