Catch Up Class Week 5 - Tuesday Lunchtime General Class

Duration: 1hr 10 minutes

Emphasis:  We start this class with the calming breathing practice Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana) and then move into some seated and kneeling sequences. We then come up to standing for some simple (but not easy!) balancing poses and a short sequence that includes Warrior 2 Pose (Virabhadrasana II). Back to sitting, we take some twists, side stretches and forward bends and finish the class with a restful Savasana.

Props needed: A blanket to kneel on and a strap and a block to sit on if required.

Mat direction: Long edge of the mat facing the screen.
