Catch Up Class Week 4 - Wednesday Evening Slow Flow

Duration: 1hr 15 minutes

Emphasis:  The fourth of the 5 elements, known in yoga as the Pancha Bhutas, is Air. The Sanskrit name is Vayu. In this class we focus on easeful movement of the joints and opening the chest for optimum breathing, in line with the qualities of Vayu. Expect a seated warm up, Sun Salutations, two creative sequences with an unusual transition towards the end, plus a short reclined sequence to relax afterwards.

Props needed: A blanket, a block and maybe a yoga belt to help link your hand to foot in one of the poses.

Mat direction: Short edge of the mat facing the screen.
