Half Term Practice Class

In this class you'll move slowly and gently through the body, from the feet to the head, practising a variety of standing, seated and supine poses to strengthen and stretch your body and calm and quieten your mind and nervous system.

You might need a blanket to pad under your knees if they are sensitive and possibly a strap to catch your foot if the quadriceps muscles at the front of your thighs are tight.

As always, be kind to your body - there is nothing to be gained by being forceful. Use your breath, especially the exhalation, to help you relax into the poses. If any of the postures make you feel strained or cause you any pain of any kind it is important to come out of them.
