Catch Up Class Week 4 - Slow Flow Class

Duration: 1 hr 15 minutes

Emphasis: After a supine warm-up done lying on your back the next sequences takes you to hands and knees to warm-up for some gentle backbends. The standing sequences include Camel Pose (Ustrasana), Crescent Moon Pose variations (Anjaneyasana), Warrior 1 Pose (Virabhadrasana I), a lunge with a side stretch plus Standing Splits (Urdhva Prasarita Eka Padasana). Coming back to the floor to lie down again you'll use blocks beneath the pelvis for some hip stretches, Supported Shoulderstand (Salamba Sarvangasana) or Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana), Bridge Pose (Setu Bhandasana), Happy Baby Pose (Ananda Balasana) and Savasana lying on a rolled blanket.

Props required: Two blocks and blanket.

Mat direction: Short edge of the mat facing the screen for the Sun Salutation sequences but you might prefer to turn the mat sideways so you can see better for the supine sequences.
