Catch Up Class Week 1 - Tuesday Iyengar-style Class

Duration: 1 hr 15 minutes

Emphasis:  Welcome to this Iyengar-style class. Iyengar yoga is known for its attention to good alignment and encourages you to be really aware of how you place your body in the poses. Although this class has a slow pace, you'll feel the work you're doing as we hold each pose for between 3 and 5 breaths. This week we practise mainly standing poses so there's a lot of focus on using the legs.

Props needed: Blocks for under your hands and a blanket for Savasana if needed.

Mat direction: Long edge of the mat facing the screen.
